Leisure suit Larry is one of the really early adventure games from Sierra. The game is about Larry walking around in his white polyester suit trying to find the woman of his dreams.
The game was released in 1987 so you have to look at it kindly. It is an adventure game of the sort where you walk arround with your little character and have to type in commands when you want him to do something. I believe they tried to make it forgiving so that if your command is just a little off it should understand. It really doesn’t, I’ve spen t hours and hous trying to figure out what command to use to buy condoms (!) just to be embarrased by first how easy it was when you finaly find out and after that the fact that the clerk scream at the top of his lungs that you are a pervert just because you wanted a peppermint, ribbed, roughcut condom.
Leisure suit Larry makes everyone that remembers it laugh a bit, it was a really funny game and we thank Sierra for the hole series both of Larry games and the Police Quest. Hope we will see more of Leisure suit Larry in the future.
